Silent Night – Reimagined

A spacious and soaring reimagining of Franz Gruber’s beloved Christmas carol.

With its meditative pacing, rich chords, and choice dissonances, this setting creates an atmosphere of sacred mystery and twinkling lights. It also doesn’t shy away from the emotional content of the story of the nativity, particularly the relationship of mother and son. At the end, the slowly rising chords carry the soft prayer (“Sleep in heavenly peace”) to the angels.
